A group called “G-30,000 Youth for Positive Change” has pushed the Deputy Senate Leader, Prof.Ajayi Boroffice, to run for a fourth term in the Upper Chamber, apparently content with his performance as the Senator representing Ondo North District.

After the emergency meeting, the organization issued a statement signed by its President, Comrade Olaniyi Olorunfemi, and General Secretary, Oluyinka Ibitoye, pledging the readiness of all members to purchase nomination forms for the ranking Senator to re-contest the APC senatorial primary next year.

It was highlighted that a committee had previously been established to visit all of Boroffice’s constituency project locations and present a report with 100 percent satisfaction, encompassing all of the transformation agenda.

The group claimed that the multi-million dollar Skills Acquisition Centre built by the federal legislator in Oka-Akoko, Ikare-Akoko, Ifon, and Ikaram-Akoko will generate over 150,000 jobs for the Senatorial District’s youth per year.

According to the group”Boroffice has brought unprecedented development to Ondo North with various visible projects and infrastructures.

“Some of the Projects listed include construction of eight classrooms in over 20 Primary Schools and 15 Secondary Schools, Construction of Atmosphere Science Centre at Adekunle Ajasin University and distribution of N50,000 to 240 Students of the Institution.

Besides, the group noted that the Senator singlehandedly facilitated Six different Agencies to Ondo North and constructed Hospitals in Oka-Akoko which is now serving as an Annex to Federal Medical Centre, Owo apart from those at Supare,Irun and Arigidi-Akoko.

The Communique reads; “We are so glad that the Asiwaju of Akoko land constructed Solar Powered Boreholes and Street lights in nearly all the towns in Ondo North District.

“He further lifted over 1,0000 people out of extreme poverty in the district,through free interest loan to Women and Youth among several other laudable projects”.

The group enjoined all notable associations,students, artisans, civil servants,NURTW,political appointees,road transport unions and others to join them in prevailing on the lawmaker to go for the fourth time to further consolidate on his achievements.
