Ukraine Claim To Have Sunk Russian Ship, Russia Deny Attack.

Ukraine said it fired a Neptune anti-ship missile against the Moskva missile cruiser.

The Soviet-era ship sank on Thursday while being hauled to dock after a fire and explosions, according to Russia’s defence ministry.

According to the government, around 500 crew members were evacuated without any mention of an assault.

The loss of the ship comes as Russia’s military continues to shell Ukrainian towns on the Black Sea over 50 days after invading the country to drive out “far-right nationalists.”
