Engr Ademulegun Raphael Adewale, a Chieftain of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Ondo State, has urged members of the party to embrace peace ahead of the 2023 General Elections, in which the party hopes to unseat the incumbent All Progressives Congress, APC.

While making the announcement, the leading senatorial aspirant in Ondo South Senatorial District, emphasized the importance of curing the party’s malignant virus of division and disharmony ahead of the General Elections.

He said, the Party’s achievements since the return of democracy to Nigeria in 1999 should be the indices to measure leadership performance between the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP.

The PDP aspirant stated that the PDP is the only party that knows the struggle of Ondo State’s people, adding that development of the Ondo South Senatorial District was last seen under the Agagu administration.

He promised to win the party’s senatorial nomination and defeat the APC in the General Elections.

Ademulegun also promised to use his position in the National Assembly to influence the development of Ondo South and guarantee that abandoned projects are revisited through the legislative process.

He also vowed to restore and stabilize electricity in the Ondo South Senatorial District’s key towns.
