Chidinma Ojukwu, the main suspect in the assassination of Usifo Ataga, the CEO of Super TV, has pleaded not guilty.

Ojukwu, 22, stated this on Tuesday during her arraignment before Justice Yetunde Adesanya of the Lagos State High Court sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square, where she and one Adedapo Quadri, the main suspects in the murder case, were arraigned.

Both defendants have pleaded not guilty to eight counts that include murder, forgery, and theft.

They were also charged with Chidinma’s sister, Egbuchu Chioma, who was reported to have recovered the late Ataga’s iPhone 7.

Chioma, on the other hand, pled not guilty to the 9th count of having stolen property in her possession.

They are being prosecuted by the Lagos State Department of Public Prosecution, Mrs Olayinka Adeyemi
