The President of the Niger Delta Creek Movement (NDCM) and Bayelsa based rights activist, Comrade Timipre Ndoni has issued a quit notice criminal elements terrorizing the waterways under the guise of sea pirates, lamenting that their activities were causing unnecessary chaos in the waterways, giving traders and communities in the creek a sleepless night.
Ndoni who made this known in a press release sighted by Ijaw News on Tuesday, warned the criminals parading in Delta and Bayelsa States waterways to desist from the act of stabbing and robbing of market women and boat drivers.
The youth leader, who is the current Director of Social Media to the Chairman, IYC Abuja/Northern Nigeria Chapter, recounted how the pirates ambushed market women in Ojobo/Ndoro waterways.

The activist also urged the leadership of the riverine communities in Ekeremor and Burutu Local Government Areas to devise means to arrest the ugly situation in the waterways before it gets out of hand.
