Juventus came back from two goals down to beat Roma 4-3 in a thrilling match at the Stadio Olimpico.
Tammy Abraham, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and a superb Lorenzo Pellegrini free-kick gave Roma a 3-1 lead, but Juve’s fightback began in the 70th minute with Manuel Locatelli’s header making the scores 3-2 before two more goals.
Another goal within seven minutes came thanks to Dejan’s close-range shots.
Roma got a penalty in the 83rd minute, in which Matthijs de Ligt received a second yellow card for handball, but Lorenzo Pellegrini’s shot was saved by former Roma keeper Wojciech Szczesny, giving Juventus an extraordinary victory in Rome.
The result meant Roma dropped right all the way down to 7th on 32 points. For Juventus, they stay in 5th on 38 points; six points clear of sixth-placed Fiorentina and 3 off Atalanta in fourth.
