Ondo Monarch’s Wife Trains 50 Teachers.
Olori Olufunmilayo Nejo-Oluyede, wife of the traditional ruler of Ayede Ogbese in Akure North local government area, has begun pedagogy training for 50 teachers.
The training, which was done in partnership with the One Million Teachers training project, was part of her community empowerment campaign.
Olori Nejo-Oluyede stated that she made the decision to improve the lives of Nigerian children by ensuring that instructors who have an influence on them have the necessary and current skills.
She added that it was to address the country’s shortage of qualified educators.
According to her, “You realised that education is key to the development of any society. There is dearth of well trained teachers globally. If you trained a teacher, you saved lives; you take people out of ignorance and out of a level of decadence.”
Oba Ajibola Raphael Oluyede, the Alayede of Ogbese, said he supported the program because it aimed to make Nigerian graduates more productive and employable.
Oba Oluyede believes that educating teachers has a significant influence on the lives of the people in the neighborhood.
The training was in keeping with the state government’s goal for the education sector, according to Deputy Governor of the State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who was represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff, Prince Omojuwa Olusegun.
