Edo State Governor and winner of the just concluded gubernatorial polls in the state, Godwin Obaseki has sent a stern warning to the former chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole.
The Governor who made this known in a television interview on Tuesday said his government will have no mercy on Oshiomhole if he continues to misbehave.
Asked about reports that there is a plan to “run Oshiomhole out of the state” he responded that no such plan exists, but the response of his administration will depend on the behavior of Oshiomhole.
“I don’t have any plan, but if he continues to behave the way he always does, if he continues to be disruptive, if he continues to fund his lions and tigers, and tries to create problems for us here, then we will not have any mercy,” he said.

He said he would not want to say much about Oshiomhole, noting that the former APC national chairman had been deceived.
Asked if he nurses an ambition to move to the senate after the expiration of his second term the governor stated that he has no such plans.
“After the next four years, i’ll seek admission and go back to school to teach. I don’t have any wishes to go to the Senate,” he stated.
The governor had earlier foreclosed the possibility of returning to the APC saying it would amount to betrayal to leave the party that gave the platform to be re-elected – PDP.
