Novak Djokovic resumed his winning streak in tennis on Friday night at the Paris Masters, defeating Taylor Fritz 6-4 6-3.
Since losing in the final of the US Open earlier this year in September, the Serbian world number one had not played.
The 34-year-old, on the other hand, felt at ease when he faced his American opponent Fritz.
He dominated the service game, hitting eight aces to his opponent’s five, and his serves were significantly more precise.
That helped him to win the opening set 6-4, and Djokovic continued his dominance in the decisive second set to win the match.
On Saturday, Novak Djokovic will compete in the semi-finals in France against Hubert Hurkacz.
