Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniel’s husband and Nigerian billionaire, has finally explained why his marriage to his Moroccan wife, Laila, was terminated.
Fans accused Regina Daniels of using ‘kayamata’ to break her husband’s marriage to the Moroccan model when Laila officially declared that she was divorced from the politician in October.
Last month, Regina Daniels and Jaruma engaged in a publicity war.
Ned has finally addressed the matter in a statement sent by his media team.
In a statement posted on his Instagram page, the former member of the House of Representatives denied rumours that his divorce was caused by the usage of a local aphrodisiac known as ‘Kayamata,’ which was marketed by Jaruma.
According to Ned Nwoko, his marriage to Laila “degenerated to irreconcilable differences rooted in indecent conduct on the part of Laila which started whilst she was on holiday in London.”
The statement began by saying; “The attention of Prince Ned Nwoko’s Media directorate has been drawn to a publication trending especially in the social media linking his separation with his Moroccan born wife, Laila Nwoko, to the influence of a local aphrodisiac called “Kayamata”, vended by one Hauwa Saidu Mohammed, commonly known as Jaruma.
“We note with a sense of responsibility that prince Ned Nwoko has nothing whatsoever to do with Jaruma products in relation to his cordial relationship with his actress wife, Regina Daniels.”
In part, the statement reads:
“When she got to London, she abandoned the kids. No money was spent on them for their clothes. She did not take them to shops but spent money on herself. She was also in contact with a man. Laila was always on the phone with a strange man. From secret findings, the relationship with the man started sometime in January 2021.”
The statement also indicated that Laila contracted COVID-19 in a London nightclub and had plastic surgery without alerting her spouse.
“She did plastic surgery without informing her husband. She went to a nightclub and got coronavirus there. The neglect of the kids, violence on them, plastic surgery without knowledge of her husband, wayward lifestyle abroad, contact with a man, police case and involvement of a lawyer in London were the major concerns that Ned Nwoko found disturbing and unacceptable. In all the weighty allegations, her only defense was that someone ‘set her up’ She never explained who did and for what purpose. When she returned to Nigeria from the UK, Ned Nwoko refused to see her and instead asked her to leave, as he could not condone her indiscretions anymore.”
