MOSOP Congress Disowns Factional Groups

Pledges Commitment To Credible Electoral Process

The Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People (MOSOP) has pledged committment to a credible electoral process to elect new executives, while affirming that all factions of the association stands dissolved.

The Pan-Ogoni group made the decision at its congress of 13th November, 2021 held at the Peace and Freedom centre, Bori.

The congress resolutions included the appointment of an unbiased Electoral Committee (ELECO) which is billed to take effect sooner than later

A report issued by one of the participants, Dr. Terry M. Bagia, Esq., stated that the meeting was well attended with dignitaries including Barr. Ledum Mitee, Dr. Owen Wiwa, Prof. Ben Naanen, Prof. (Engr.) Olu Andah Wai-Ogosu, Dr. Gbene Joi Nunieh, Hon. Kenneth Bie-aa Kobani (aka ‘KK’), Queen (Barr.) Georgianna Tenalo

Others include Mr. Lazurus Tamana, Engr. Fegalo Mitee, HRH Mene Suanu Baridam, His Eminence Arch-Bishop Vurasi, Dr. Gbenemene Kpae, Rev. William Probel, Comrade Legborsi Yamaabana, Chief Maeba (a Signatory to the Ogoni Bill of Rights), amongst other prominent sons and daughters of Ogoniland.
