I Don’t Believe Buhari Is In Charge Of Nigeria – Wike.

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has stated that it is difficult to trust that President Muhammadu Buhari is actually in command of Nigerian affairs, considering the country’s endemic insecurity and dismal economic performance.

Wike made the remarks while meeting with PDP delegates at the party’s office in Owerri on Tuesday as part of his ongoing consultations ahead of the party’s presidential primary next month.

He did, however, promise that if elected, he will take strong command of the armed forces, provide them with the necessary backing, and increase their capacity to acquire intelligence and demand results from them.

He stated that any government that is unable to defend citizens’ lives and property has failed. Governor Wike stated that it is because of such failures that he wishes to run again on the PDP platform.

The governor said that the economy cannot prosper without security, and he is fearless in confronting the threat across the country.

He also indicated that economists and specialists will be involved as part of his administration and will be permitted to design the modalities and strategies needed to set the course for the nation’s economy’s growth.

Wike stated that he is deeply committed to the development of his people and the supply of infrastructure, as demonstrated in Rivers State.

The Governor stated that he has a clear vision and the ability to galvanize and organize the abundance of human abilities, knowledge, and resources in driving the county to greatness.

When elected President of Nigeria, he promised to replicate the achievements he had in Rivers State.

Governor Wike informed the delegates that if they gave him the party’s ticket, his chances of winning would have been ensured since he is the only one who can seize power from APC for PDP on behalf of Nigerians.
