Lewis Grabban‘s goal seven minutes from time helped Nottingham Forest knock Arsenal out of the FA Cup in the third round for the second time in four years.
There was very little action in the game and Mikel Arteta would certainly be furious at his team’s lacklustre performance.
However, Arsenal could have taken the lead at this point if Eddie Nketiah had managed Bukayo Saka’s pass just before the hour ended instead of letting his head hang 90 degrees out of goal.
The winner came in after a superb run down the right from Ryan Yates and his cross was first hit by a substitute Grabban from outside the box.
Forest, who also beat Arsenal at the City Ground 4-2 in 2018, will now face Leicester City at home in the fourth round.
