Akure South Consistency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly is ready to take on new order of quality representation in the next political despensation.

This ascertion was made by a former Correspondent of Leadership Newspaper in the White House, the United States of America (USA) seat of power, Abidoun Oluwarotimi, on Sunday, during his ‘Meet the Leaders’ tour to Okelisa, Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Oluwarotimi revealed that the his visit was to formerly to seek for the approval and support of the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Consistency to enable him contest for the coveted seat of member of Ondo State House of Assembly on February 2023.

The Assembly hopeful told his audience that he came with lorry-full of experience and better knowledge of representative democracy, both in Europe and America where the people are consider as assets.

“I am here today first, as a son of the land and ‘area boy’ coming home to pay homage, and most importantly, to let you know my next political ambition to represent our consistency in the State Assembly come 2023.

“I need your approval and support as one of you and as your brother to embark on this wholeness task; with genuine interest and intention to serve all wholeheartedly and impactfully.

“Need not to tell you that my career training as a practising journalist and widely travelled reporter has equipped me with necessary manpower and technological knowhow to deliver effectively and proactively as a representative of my people.

“From May 29, 2023 with me as your lawmaker on the platform of our darling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), it’s going to be a new order and pragmatic shift from mediocre representation,” Oluwarotimi stated.

Oluwarotimi, born in Akure, attended St. Francis RCM Primary School, Akure and prestigious St.Thomas Aquinas College, Akure (ACA).

He went further to studied Journalism at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba- Lagos, and later worked with Ultimate Newspaper, National Echo Newspaper, Immoral Disarmament Magazine and Ondo Focus newspapers before proceeding to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko to study Philosophy.

He then joined Leadership Newspaper in Abuja before relocated to Abroad.

He was foreign correspondent for Leadership newspaper in France, United Kingdom and the entire Europe.

He was later transfered to the USA as the White House, United Narions (UN) and World Bank Correspondent for the same newspaper.

He resigned and returned home in 2015 and found his own newspaper, Nigerian Concord Newspaper, and to as well begin his political career.

He has worked and still working as a media consultant to former governor of Benue state who is now a senator, Dr. Gabriel Suswam, as well as his predecessor, Governor Samuel Ortom.
