Everton Come From Behind To See Off Arsenal

Everton overcame Arsenal 2-1 thanks to Demarai Gray’s late goal, ending their eight-game losing streak.

After Richarlison’s header into the net was ruled out by VAR for offside, Odegaard gave Arsenal a surprise lead shortly before half-time in a dreary first half.

In the 58th minute, the Brazilian thought he had equalized, but VAR ruled him offside as he slid the ball into the bottom corner.

Richarlison scored on the rebound of a Gray shot in the 79th minute to earn Everton a point.

Gray’s stinging drive into the top corner gave Everton the victory they dearly needed in injury time.

With the win, Rafael Benitez’s side moves up to 12th place with 18 points. Arsenal’s third Premier League loss away from home leaves them in seventh place with 23 points.
