Ethnic Jingoists Blocked Success Of Our Programmes For Deltans – Uduaghan

Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, CON, former Governor of Delta State in his admonition titled “Together We Can Make It,” challenged ethnic groups with accepting the variety that makes Delta State special.

His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, CON, former Governor of Delta State, joined Bishop Simeon Okah of the Flock of Christ Mission in their annual thanksgiving service earlier today in Warri.

The two-term former governor took use of the chance to chastise ethnic jingoists who have been a stumbling block to the state’s prosperity since its inception.

He also stated that Deltans’ deep-seated hatred for one another has caused immeasurable miseries and that it is only by honestly embracing one another as residents of the same geographical place that we can truly know development and harmony.

He said, “Togetherness is one of the biggest issues in Delta state till today. I had hindrances as governor. There were some fine programmes my administration proposed but were vehemently resisted by ethnic jingoists. They do not think of the larger picture or benefit of anything. They view everything from their suspicious ethnic lenses.”

The former governor encouraged Deltans who are also members of the church to draw inspiration from the life of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose greatest gift to mankind is love.
