#EndSARS protesters have taken their demonstration to the National Assembly in spite of the ban on protests by the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
The protesters in their numbers stormed the assembly complex on Thursday bearing placards lamenting extra-judicial killings and demanding justice for victims of police brutality.
They intensified their calls for police reforms while chanting ‘EndSWAT!’ ‘EndSARS!’.
The Spokesperson of the Senate, Senator Ajibola Bashiru and the Senate Committee Chairman on Police, Haliru Jika later addressed the protesters.
The protesters, however, insisted that they should be addressed the Senate President Ahmed Lawan.

As at the time of filing this report, the senate president is yet to address the protesters.
Meanwhile, governors of Northern extraction have rejected the dissolution of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) by the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu.
The chairman of the Northern Governors Forum and Plateau State Governor, Solomon Lalong made this known on Thursday after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja.
He said the 19 northern states were against the proscription of the notorious SARS unit as the unit has been effective in tackling some of the security challenges bedevilling Northern Nigeria
