Delta 2023: Omo-Agege Set To Declare For Governorship.

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the Deputy President of the Senate, is expected to declare his interest in running for governor of Delta State in the 2023 general elections.

According to a statement issued by Omo-Agege’s Media Office on Wednesday and signed by Yomi Odunuga, the decision was made in response to unequivocal requests for populist leadership in Delta State.

He stated that numerous communities that have benefited from Senator Omo-Agege’s development initiatives in the state have already mobilized for participation in the formal declaration ceremony, which is scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources in Effurun.

The statement went on to say that, in addition to party supporters, well-meaning residents from all political stripes, as well as state friends, are anticipated to attend the declaration ceremonies.
