DELTA 2023: Omo-Agege Declares For Governor, Promises To Transform State.

Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy President of the Senate, said yesterday that he will compete for Delta State governor under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Omo-Agege apologized to the over ten thousand fans who had come at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, football field as early as 7 a.m., but the event did not begin until about 4 p.m.

He stated that despite arriving so early, supporters remained patient, indicating that the APC is ready to drive the PDP out of the state.

Omo-Agege stated that if elected governor, he would transform Delta State in less than four years, claiming that as a Senator, he had completed several projects in his constituency and that if elected governor, he would guarantee that the three Senatorial districts were improved.

He stated that he had fulfilled all of the pledges he made while launching his candidacy for the Senate.

Omo-Agege said that despite the state’s health and education sectors nearly collapsing, Okowa spends N2 billion every month on thousands of aides who do nothing.

He stated that as DSP, he utilized his power to establish a federal polytechnic, a university, transformers to needy villages, and link numerous towns to energy, among other things. When he was elected governor, he pledged to do more.

He praised Victor Giadom, the APC South-South leader, the national working committee, and numerous APC officials for attending the declaration event.
