Buhari Directs National Flags To Fly At Half-Mast To Mourn Late COAS, Others

President Muhammadu Buhari has thanked the Chinese Government for building infrastructure in Nigeria.

While hailing China, President Buhari noted that development will not be possible without infrastructure.

The President spoke on Tuesday at the State House, Abuja, when he received the State Councillor and Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Mr Wang Yi. 

President Buhari further pledged that the country would continue to honour its obligations in the relationship with China.

On his part, the Chinese Minister, Mr. Wang Yi hailed the mutual trust and sound personal friendship between the Nigerian leader and President Xi Jinping of China.

He said their friendship has guided the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government and China are deliberating direct flights.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, said this in Abuja, the nation’s capital.The partnership was part of the talks Mr. Onyeama held with his visiting China counterpart, Wang Yi.
