Mone Kutu, a notorious criminal operating in the creeks of the Niger Delta has been arrested, IJAW NEWS can authoritatively confirm.
Why the details surrounding his arrest are still sketchy as at press time, credible sources told IJAW NEWS that the notorious gangster was arrested in Ifewara, near Osogbo in Osun State in the early hours of Friday, November 12, 2021.
He was responsible for the recent killing of vigilante operatives in Egbema, the abduction of staff of Presco Nig. Ltd. in Edo State, the burning of several residential houses in Asere community of Ondo state, amid several other atrocities

This newspaper understands that concerted efforts from prominent Ijaw leaders and security agents led to Mone Kutu’s arrest.
Determined to flush out all criminal elements in the region, the Ijaw leaders reportedly provided the intelligence that led to his arrest.
Recall, that in July 2021, this newspaper had published a report detailing the timeline of his criminal activities in the Niger Delta region.
The report authoritatively linked 23 deaths to him and his criminal gang in 2021 alone.
