Bayelsa Government Denies Conflict with Dickson, Division in the Party.

The Bayelsa State Government has denied any schism or disagreement among the ranks of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, or with Seriake Dickson, the former Governor of the state and Senator representing the Bayelsa West senatorial district.

Ayibaina Duba, the state Commissioner for Information, Orientation, and Strategy, issued a statement in which she labeled the report by an online magazine produced by Ebi Jamaica as blatant and deceptive.

The article, authored by one Ebi Jamaica and published on a variety of internet sites, blamed Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, for the party’s disintegration.

He also accused the governor of being ungrateful to people who helped him win the 2019 governorship election, particularly the state’s immediate previous governor, Dickson.

However, the state government urged party members and the general public to dismiss Mr. Jamaica’s unconfirmed, erroneous assertions, and dishonest essay.
