The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has been declared the winner of the Anambra State Governorship Election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Professor Florence Obi, the election’s Returning Officer, declared Soludo the winner of the hotly contested election, which lasted three days due to several glitches, at exactly 1.51 a.m. on November 10, 2021.
According to Prof. Obi, the APGA candidate polled a total vote of 112, 229 to beat his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, who polled 53807.
Sen. Andy Uba of the All Progressive Congress (APC) came third with 43285 votes.
