Akeredolu Sends Stern Warning To Ondo Teachers On Extortion.

The government of Ondo State issued a warning to teachers on Monday against extorting money from parents and guardians in the state.

In a statement issued in Akure, the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Olufemi Agugu, warned that certain instructors had been engaging in the conduct, making a mockery of the government’s intervention programs for disadvantaged kids in the state.

The statement read: “This is despite the state government’s decision to pay WAEC fees for students in the state’s public schools.
