Super Eagles Qualify For AFCON 2021, Grabs Away Victory In Benin Republic

On Sunday, October 10, Nigeria returned to winning ways at the Japoma Stadium in Douala, Cameroon, with a 2-0 victory over the Central African Republic.

Leon Balogun and Victor Osimhen scored first-half goals to help the Super Eagles defeat the same opponents who beat them four days ago in Lagos.

Nigeria 0 -2 Central African Republic – The Super Eagles have returned to winning ways with a resounding victory.

Balogun pounced on a cross to past the CAR goalie at his near post, and Osimhen added a second goal soon before halftime.

With their win in Douala on Sunday, Gernot Rohr’s side took a huge step towards qualifying for the knockout and final phase of the Qata qualifying tournament.
